The film completes 9 years today and it continues to be one Bollywood’s must watch masterpieces. Talking about her feisty character in the film in a chat with Hindustan Times, Deepika shared, “Veronica will always be one of my most special characters I've played; one that changed a lot for me professionally and impacted me personally.” The actress also revealed that originally she was given Meera’s script, the character which later marked Diana’s debut. But writer Imtiaz Ali called her and asked her to re-read it with Veronica's bits. It’s amazing how well things turned out for both the actresses!
