Cocktail: Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty and Dimple Kapadia's throwback BTS pic from set is perfect to beat mid-week blues

Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty starrer Cocktail is one of the most loved films. Directed by Homi Adajania, the rom-com also stars Dimple Kapadia and Boman Irani in key roles. Released in 2012, the film still holds a special place in every cinema lover's heart. From its quirky storyline, peppy songs, and sizzling chemistry, Cocktail is a perfect blend of entertainment. Meanwhile, a while ago, director Homi Adajania took to social media and walked down memory lane. He dropped a BTS picture from Cocktail sets featuring himself, Deepika, Diana, and Dimple. 

A Cocktail throwback!

Homi shared the priceless throwback picture on his Instagram story and left the fans nostalgic. In the picture, Deepika, who recently welcomed her baby girl Dua, is seen sporting a bikini top paired with denim shorts in a pool. Diana and Dimple Kapadia are seen sitting by the pool. Homi, on the other hand, is flaunting his toned body while giving them the brief. Along with the picture, he wrote, "Shooting Cocktail, Capetown 2011." He also put a GIF that read, "Behind the scenes." While tagging them, he used a hashtag too, "Tossback." The throwback picture is simply priceless. Have a look:

Soon after Homi shared the picture, Deepika's fans took notice and they couldn't stop gushing over it. One of her fans wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Throwback photo from the shooting of Cocktail shared by director Homi Adajania. Deepika's body" followed by fire emojis. Another fan wrote, "That bikini bod." Others were seen dropping red heart and fire emojis while gushing over Deepika's waistline.

Cocktail 2 in the works?

Recently, it was reported that the film is all set to get a sequel. Reportedly, Shahid Kapoor has been roped in for Cocktail 2. According to Peeping Moon, Shahid has agreed to do the film. A source told the portal, "Dinesh Vijan and Homi Adajania have been toying with the idea of a Cocktail sequel for years, and they’ve now crafted a storyline that they believe matches the magic of the first film. Although Cocktail 2 features a completely new narrative, its tone and vibrant setting evoke the original, thus being labeled a sequel. Shahid loved the story and is already on board, while discussions with several leading young actresses are in progress."
