This young adult series chronicles the catastrophic events that occur when two worlds converge, upending families, relationships, and the lives of kids from prominent families.
Class teaser was released today at Netflix's Global Fan Event, Tudum, and features the show's vibrant, youthful cast. Director Ashim Ahluwalia said of his experience bringing Class to life that, as a filmmaker and storyteller, Class is a universe he always envisioned developing for India. The journey of each character is unpredictable and exciting. Young individuals can be extremely emotional and impulsive, which creates a lot of dramatic conflicts. Nobody is the same, and the narrative's complexities make it a crazy, compelling watch. The entire Class team has been fantastic to work with, especially the young cast, and they are delighted for the viewers to get a glimpse of this unique world with this teaser!
Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India, said that with Class, they are happy to bring to life the Indian adaptation of the worldwide loved Spanish series Elite. They have expanded their young adult series portfolio with popular series like Kota Factory and Mismatched, and Class will add to that. The class, led by a remarkable ensemble cast of new talent, spans two worlds within the same city, providing a greater view into the story's protagonists and their conflicts, problems, and affinities. Class is an outstanding viewing experience for people of all ages.
Class will soon be available on Netflix.
