Citadel Honey Bunny: The Family Man's Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi receive message from spies Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu; trailer to be out on THIS date

Citadel: Honey Bunny, the upcoming installment in the Citadel series slated to debut on Prime Video worldwide, is an Indian production. Varun Dhawan and Samantha play the lead roles in the series. The series will be released worldwide on November 7. Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.) are the creative minds behind India's Citadel universe, and Sita R. Menon is one of their writers. Ahead of the release of the most-awaited series, the makers dropped an interesting teaser featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi.

Citadel: Honey Bunny new teaser

A while ago, Prime Video India took to their Instagram handle and shared a new teaser ahead of the release of Citadel: Honey Bunny.

In this clip, we can see Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi reading a file of the spies Honey Bunny aka Varun Dhawan, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. While reading it, they received a message on a machine. The texts read, "New Message Received. Honey Bunny Are Here..." At the end of the video, it is revealed, "Trailer out on October 15." 

Through this teaser, we got the introduction of The Family Man's Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) and JK Talpade (Sharib Hashmi). Their crossover with Varun and Samantha's Honey Bunny will be a pleasure to watch!

Fans react to Citadel Honey Bunny teaser

Reacting to the teaser, one fan wrote, "Finaly the wait is going over Honey Bunny coming." Another wrote, "Don't know about this new series. We have just got the intro of family fan 3.."

A third fan shared, "I can't wait honey bunny" One of the comments also read, "Wait is over!! Going to celebrate our honey"

Citadel: Honey Bunny is India's version of Citadel. The show will release after the Italian version, Citadel: Diana, is out. While Citadel: Diana will release on Amazon Prime Video on October 10, Citadel: Honey Bunny is scheduled for November 7 release.

Citadel: Honey Bunny will pave way for Citadel 2, which will bring back the original duo, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden. All the three series are inter-connected and take the story forward from Russo Brothers' Citadel. All the Citadel universe series (Citadel: Diana, Citadel: Honey Bunny and Citadel 2, like Citadel) will be out on Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Citadel: Honey Bunny is directed by The Family Man duo Raj & DK. The series features Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead.

Talking about the plot, Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to showcase the thrilling side of romance with the nail-biting thrill of a hard-boiled spy thriller, set against the colorful backdrop of the 1990s.

Samantha discussed her involvement with Citadel: India at the Prime Video Presents event in Mumbai. She stated, "I would never have imagined that I could take action. But just being here at this event is already a sure victory for me because, till the last moment, I really didn't think I could do it. I didn't think I would be a part of this Citadel: Honey Bunny. I am extremely grateful to Raj, DK, Sita, and Prime Video for really coming to my rescue. I am just incredibly proud already, and I can't believe that this is how it looks."
