Cirkus song Current Laga Re launch: "Only he can match himself," says Deepika Padukone on Ranveer Singh's double role in Rohit Shetty's film

The electrifying and much-awaited song of Cirkus is finally released. Titled Current Laga Re, featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, is crooned by Nakash Aziz, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jonita Gandhi and Lijo George, who has also composed the track along with Dj Chetas. Meanwhile, Kumaar has penned the quirky and fun lyrics. 

Recently, during the song launch event, when Deepika was asked by the media to share her thoughts on Ranveer's double role in Cirkus, the diva replied, "He did it really well. What more can I say? Only he can match himself, right? So, it is a perfect casting."

The latest track that was released today sees multiple colourful montages featuring Deepika and Ranveer along with over a hundred dancers in the background. While the hero looks dashing in his all-black attire in the song, the heroine wins hearts in her magenta and green-coloured ethnic wear. The couple taps their feet together on some extraordinary and electrifying steps.

The latest song is definitely nostalgic and reminds you of the colourful track named Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari from the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika starrer Chennai Express, directed by Rohit. Meanwhile, Cirkus marks the reunion of the actress and the filmmaker.

While Deepika appears in a cameo role, the upcoming Ranveer starrer also has Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles alongside Johny Lever, Varun Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Siddharth Jadhav, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Radhika Bangia, Brijendra Kala, Saurabh Gokhale, Ashish Warang, Umakant Patil and Uday Tikekar in key roles.

Cirkus is slated to hit the cinema theatres during Christmas on December 23.
