Chor Bazaar: Noonugu Meesala from Akash Puri and Gehnna Sippy’s actioner is an upbeat, appealing melody

Akash Puri, who was last seen in Romantic, written and produced by his father, filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, is gearing up for another release. His next is Chor Bazaar, being directed by George Reddy, Dalam fame filmmaker Jeevan Reddy. Gehna is on board as the female lead in the action drama produced by VS Raju. A new single from the film, Noonugu Meesala, was unveiled by actress Samantha earlier today.

Noonugu Meesala is about a girl gradually falling for the charms of a youngster, who’s been desperately wooing her. The song tells how she’s being tormented by his thoughts day in and day out and the girl can’t resist loving him. Gehnna Sippyy is seen dancing along to the fun, catchy number lyricised by Kasarla Shyam and sung by Lakshmi Meghana. Suresh Bobbili is composing music for the film.

Akash Puri and Gehnna make for a good on-screen pair. In the lyrical video, Gehnna is seen engaging in many discussions with the choreographer Bhanu master and the director on the location. Suresh Bobbili, the composer, was recently in the news for the both the singles of his next release, Virata Parvam. One would hope that his career would soar to greater heights after Virata Parvam and this could help Chor Bazaar immensely.

Produced under IV Productions, the film is cinematographed by Jagadeesh Cheekati. Alluri Suresh Varma is the co-producer while Priyadarshan Balasubramanian is working on the background score. Chor Bazaar’s theatrical release date hasn’t been announced yet. Subbaraju, Sunil, Sampoornesh Babu play important roles too.
