Choona is an upcoming multistarrer heist drama on Netflix created, directed and written by Pushpendra Nath Misra. Starring Jimmy Shergill, Arshad Warsi and Aashim Gulati among others in pivotal roles, the web series was earlier scheduled to drop on August 3, but now it has a new release date.
Plot of the series
A set of peculiar individuals hailing from different age groups learn that they all have this one common enemy, whom they want to destroy. All the misfits come together to plan a revenge heist to teach the powerful influencer a lesson.

The trailer video of Choona begins with exploring the life of a politician, who hugely believes in astrology and talks about one's fate and politician can survive politics with the help of stars. A set of mere ordinary people coincidentally gather together to learn that they all are annoyed and angry with the political leader and plan to destroy him completely. The makers dropped the official trailer with a special caption that reads, "Shukla ji ko sapna aaya hai ki koi doosra muhurat dekha jaaye. Naya muhurat nikal kar, nayi date jald hi batate hai (sic)."

The cast of Choona
Bankrolled by Flying Saucer, the satirical heist drama series also stars Vikram Kochhar, Monika Panwar, Namit Das, Chandan Roy, Gyanendra Tripathi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Kishor Chandra Shrivastav and Atul Srivastava in significant roles. The cinematography of the Pushpendra Nath Misra directorial is done by Will Humphris and Aditya Kapur.

Earlier this year, Choona was set to premiere on OTT on August 3, while now the crime comedy-drama will release on September 29 to stream online only on Netflix.
