Chiyaan Vikram's long-delayed film, Dhruva Natchathiram was supposed to hit screens on November 24. However, the film's booking didn't open until late in the evening on the previous day (November 23) leading to speculations about whether the film was releasing on the said date or not. Later, the film's director Gautham Menon announced that the film's release was postponed.

New release date on November 30?
Now the latest we hear is that the film is likely to hit screens on November 30. New unofficial posters of the film with November 30 as the release date are doing the rounds on social media. There has been no official clarification from the team yet. The other films slated for release this week include Annapoorani, Parking, Naadu, Soorajan and Varalam Va.
Gautham Menon announced postponement of release
When the bookings failed to open on November 23, Gautham Menon wrote a message on his social media handle, which read, "Sorry, Unable to get Dhruva Natchathiram to the screens today. We tried our best. But looks like we need a day or two more. Hoping to give everybody a good experience with advance bookings and proper screens everywhere around the world."
He added, "The support for the film is heartwarming and has kept us going. Just a few more days and we'll arrive (sic)."
What's Dhruva Natchathiram about?
Vikram plays a top spy, who devises a plan to form a covert team that can function without the hurdles of bureaucracy to take down terrorists.The action-entertainer's runtime has been revealed as 2 hours and 25 minutes.
The star cast includes Vikram, Ritu Varma, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Simran, Divya Dharshini, Munna Simon, Vamsi Krishna, Salim Baig, Sathish Krishnan and Maya S Krishnan to name a few.
Music is by Harris Jayaraj, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, SR Kathir and Vishnu Dev. Editing is by Anthony. The film is bankrolled by Ondraga Entertainment and Oruoorileoru Film House.
