Chiyaan Vikram rocks a new hairdo, reminds fans of his look in Bheema

Chiyaan Vikram sure knows how to take the internet by storm every time he puts up a post on social media. Last evening, the actor dropped a series of pictures of his new look and it went viral in no time. The Thangalaan star has shed his long locks that he sported for the Pa Ranjith film and is now seen in a crew-cut. He is also seen sporting a French beard.

Fans of the actor have begun comparing his look with that of his 2008 film, Bheema. Many have stated that the actor hasn't aged one bit since the last 15 years. Ever since the picture got out, the Ponniyin Selvan 2 actor has been flooring his fans with his suave look in a white shirt and formal navy blue striped trousers.

Meanwhile, yet another picture of Vikram from Shankar's birthday party celebration is also doing the rounds. The actor is seen dressed in semi formals and is seen in the same haircut as the photo shoot. The photo has some of the big names in the industry, which includes Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Karthik Subbaraj, Ram Charan, SJ Suryah, Vetri Maaran, Gautham Menon, Vignesh Shivan, and Lingusamy to name a few.

On the film front, Vikram is awaiting the release of Thangalaan. The film, helmed by Pa Ranjith, is one of the most ambitious projects of the director and is set in the pre-independence period in the Kolar Gold Field. The film stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan , Pasupathy and Harikrishnan.

Thangalaan, we hear, revolves around a tribe who stood up against the British empire. The fiery look of Vikram from a glimpse ready to take on the colonial invaders, had already set the internet on fire. The post production is in full swing and the film is likely to drop later this year. Thangalaan is helmed by KE Gnanavel Raja's production house, Studio Green.
