Chitrangda Singh also said, "I don’t think people will get all the nuances in Gaslight during the first watch."

Chitrangda Singh experiences several firsts in Gaslight. In addition to being her first murder mystery, Pavan Kirpalani also works with co-stars Vikrant Massey and Sara Ali Khan, who both attended separate acting programs. Also, the Disney+ Hotstar release is maybe one of her few movies that required a lot of preparation.
Chitrangda told Mid Day that they participated in an acting class because the directors intended there to be an air of uneasiness between the characters. Their coach, Rupesh, sat with them individually to practice on their respective tracks.
Pavan directed the suspenseful movies Ragini MMS (2011) and Phobia (2016). Chitrangda claims that the script development process is the director's strong suit.
She shared that good writing is a necessity for a successful thriller. People probably won't fully understand Gaslight during their first viewing. Since Pavan rejects spoon-feeding, it doesn't exist.
The icing on the cake was collaborating creatively with Sara and Vikrant. Chitrangda thinks that they have worked harder than she has. Throughout the time she has been here, she hasn't done much work.
During her 18-year career, the actor has been in many movies, such as Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011) and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005). Yet she acknowledges that attempts have been made to categorize her.
Chitrangda was Mary in Bob Biswas, and although some people thought she was too beautiful, she was believable. They wouldn't recognize the same person if she showed them in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and then in the Aao Raja dance number from Gabbar is Back. But acting is ultimately what matters.
Gaslight is Chitrangda's third OTT release after Bob Biswas on ZEE5 and the Cutting Chai segment in Modern Love: Mumbai on Prime Video. The thriller film also features Akshay Oberoi and Rahul Dev in supporting roles.
Gaslight will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31, 2023.
