Chithha OTT release date: When and where to watch Siddharth's critically acclaimed film

It's official! Siddharth's critically acclaimed film, Chithha, is all set to drop on Disney + Hotstar on November 17. The film, directed by SU Arun Kumar, opened to fantastic reviews from critics and audiences.

Chithha emerges as a sleeper hit
Siddharth's Chithha, which was released along with Jayam Ravi's Iraivan and Chandramukhi 2, has emerged as a sleeper hit among the three. While the former two opened to mixed reviews from the audience, the latter picked up steam at the box office after word of mouth and began attracting audiences to the theatres.

Siddharth thanked the audience with a heartfelt post
On the 25th day of the film's release, Siddharth thanked everyone associated with the film and the audience. His post on Instagram read, "Thank you to the universe for helping us make this film. To all those who had access to the film and chose to see it in Cinemas... You have my heart and gratitude. To those without access to our Film in cinemas....CHITHHA will be on Disney Hotstar in a few weeks. Please do watch it and show us your love. Thank you for your patience. "

He added, "Thank you to Su Arun Kumar for his vision and brilliance. Thank you to each and every person who worked on CHITHHA. We share this Massive Win with each of you (sic)."

Chithha review: Siddharth's suspense-laden emotional drama is complemented by amazing performances

Cast and crew
Chiththa also stars Siddharth, Sahasra Sree and Nimisha Sajayan. Dhibu Ninan Thomas and Vishal Chandrasekhar have scored the music and the background score. While Balaji Subramanyam has handled the cinematography, Suresh A Prasad has handled the editing. Yugabharathi has penned lyrics for songs along with director Arun Kumar.

 The film is bankrolled by Siddharth's own production house, Etaki Entertainment. Chithha is Siddharth's second outing of the year after Takkar. Takkar opened to negative reviews from both critics and audience alike.
