Siddharth's latest outing Chithha has just hit the screens and has opened to positive reviews from critics and audience. The film, directed by SU Arun Kumar, comprises Nimisha Sajayan as the leading lady.

Kamal Haasan showers praise on Chithha
Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, who released the film's announcement video, recently watched the film and was all praise for it. Kamal Haasan said, "I saw Chithha. No matter how much a mother teaches her children, when you want something to get etched in their minds forever, you need to tell it in a story format. What I liked the most about Chithha is that instead of stressing upon the message, they casually say these things exist, so be careful. And it's not only for those who have girl children. Everyone needs to look at children as children, irrespective of their gender."

The senior actor also lauded the film's director for his subtle but impactful treatment of the subject. "When you explain an accident, you get into the gory details. Here, the director refrains from doing such things. He hasn't shown anything on camera, but it still comes across as bone-chilling.The fact that such incidents are happening on a regular basis, has been well explained. A word of praise to the producers, Siddharth, who bankrolled the film.

Chithha, a must-watch film for everyone
Calling Chithha a must-watch, Kamal Haasan said, "This is a film that everyone needs to watch, including the children. Their inspiration is Mahanadhi, but I liked Chithha more than that. I hope the film wins big at the box office as well."
