Chiranjeevi: Tamannaah on Bholaa Shankar sets was like a 10th class student, didn’t even let makeup man disturb her

Chiranjeevi, who’ll soon commence working on the Telugu remake of Bro Daddy, to be directed by Kalyan Krishna, is enthusiastically promoting Bholaa Shankar as it gears up for release this Friday. The film is a remake of Ajith’s Vedalam, directed by Meher Ramesh. Tamannaah Bhatia, who also co-starred Chiranjeevi in Sye Raa , plays a lawyer in the film.

In an interview released by the makers today, Chiranjeevi applauded Tamannaah for her work ethic and said she set an example for others on the sets of Bholaa Shankar. “I really was in awe of her professionalism on the sets of the film.” The star said he saw many actresses who’re no less in terms of performance but they settled for prompting with their dialogues, knowing that the team would work it out in dubbing later.

“Tamannaah was holding her dialogue sheet like a small child attentively preparing for her 10th class exams. It’s something all of us could learn from her. She mugged up all dialogues, making sure she wouldn’t get a single Telugu word wrong,” he shared. Before Bholaa.., Chiranjeevi reportedly observed her dedication on Sye Raa sets even though they only had few scenes together.

Even when a makeup man came for touchups at the shoot location, she didn’t want to be disturbed, Chiranjeevi stated. “When she was dancing so well, I wondered if I could match up to her.” Keerthy Suresh is cast as Chiranjeevi’s on-screen sister in Bholaa Shankar, that also stars Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Ravi Shankar, Vennela Kishore, Tulasi, Sri Mukhi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Getup Srinu, Rashmi Gautam, Uttej, to name a few.

Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of Bholaa Shankar, produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments. Cinematographer Dudley, editor Marthand K Venkatesh, composer Mahati Swara Sagar are also part of the crew.
