Chiranjeevi on Mega 154 at Godfather success meet: Bobby's film will remind everyone of Rowdy Alludu

Godfather, Chiranjeevi's second outing this year, has opened to decent response from critics and the audience. The megastar of Tollywood took to his social media page to thank film lovers and his fans for the movie's performance at the box office a couple of days ago.

He had also thanked Salman Khan for playing a cameo in the film, which according to him was instrumental in drawing people to theatres. There were reports of more screens being added for the movie in north India, and he expressed excitement for the same as well.

At the success meet of Godfather which was held yesterday, the veteran actor spilled the beans on his next project, which is tentatively titled Mega 154. Bobby, who is directing the movie, was also present at the event, and was all smiles when his matinee idol went gaga over the film.

Chiranjeevi said that unlike Godfather, Mega 154 will be a full-fledged entertainer, reminding some of the super hit entertainers he was part of in the 90s like Rowdy Alludu. This revelation sent his fans into a tizzy, and many of them took to social media to say that they can't wait to watch him in the new avatar.    

Mega 154 is slated for a release in January 2023. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in the movie which will have Ravi Teja essaying an important role. Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja sharing screen space after a long time is one of the highlights of the project.

Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer of the film; he is teaming up with the megastar after Khaidi No 150 which marked the return of the latter to the silver screen as a hero after a 10-year hiatus.
