The makers of Ponniyin Selvan 2 have released the fourth lyric video from the film. After enthralling music lovers with Aga Naga, Veera Raja Veera and Shivoham, they have now come up with Chinnanjiru Nilave, a melody which has voice lent by Haricharan.

The singer has elevated Ilango Krishnan's lyrics and Rahman's music to the next level with his voice. It revolves around the strained relationship between Aditha Karikalan and Nandini. The song is from the point of view of the former. He is yet to come to terms with the fact that Nandini has rejected his love.

Though the two of them bump into each other after several years, Nandini is hitched to another person, leaving Karikalan furious. The fact that her husband is the person whom he has been looking for to take revenge makes him crazy like never before.

The story of Nandini, the principal character in Ponniyin Selvan, begins from her undying spirit to destroy Karikalan and the Chola kingdom. The lyrics beautifully convey the ego and long lost love between them leaving music buffs elated. Their conflict is one of the major attractions of Ponniyin Selvan 2.

The trailer of the movie which was unveiled a few weeks ago, too, ends with Karikalan and Nandini encountering each other. One of the aspects many are looking forward to in the film is the assassination of Karikalan. It isn't sure whether Mani Ratnam will showcase it.

The director had skipped a question on this during the recent press meet, and hence, fans and admirers of the novel are quite curious about how he is going to end the movie.
