Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is all excited as he has wrapped up the Wai schedule of his upcoming period saga, Chhava. Recently, the actor shared an intriguing glimpse into his film shoot schedule with a picture on his social media. Despite his busy schedule, Vicky keeps fans updated about his new role, where he stars as Chhatrapati Sambhaji in Laxman Utekar's upcoming directorial venture, Chhava. The period film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role.

Vicky Kaushal updates about Wai schedule

Vicky Kaushal is known for his spirited personality and lively energy. Apart from his happening personal life, the actor keeps fans updated about his upcoming films and their shoot wraps. After proving his acting mettle in Meghna Gulzar’s biopic film Sam Bahadur, Vicky is all set to captivate hearts with another heroic character. This time it’s his upcoming film Chhava, where he stars as Chhatrapati Sambhaji. Today, Vicky shared a glimpse into the schedule wrap with a picture on his Instagram.

Taking to Instagram stories, Vicky Kaushal shared a picture to excitedly inform his fans that the Chhava's schedule Maharashtra’s Wai has been wrapped up. He captioned the picture, "What a schedule this has been! Wrap on Wai! gearing up for the next one.”

Earlier, Vicky Kaushal had sustained an injury during the film shoot, but it did not deter his spirit and he made a strong comeback. The Punjabi munda is currently swamped with other projects as well, such as Karan Johar's Bad Newz, where he will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.

Chhava - Vicky Kaushal’s first period film

Laxman Utekar's Chhava is based on the life of the Indian historical figure Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). It also marks Vicky Kaushal’s first period film, thus heightening the anticipation for the historical drama film.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Chhava also stars Animal star Rashmika Mandanna in the role of Yesu Bai. The ensemble cast also features Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, and Divya Dutta among others in prominent roles. The period saga is slated for a December 6 release this year.
