Vicky Kaushal is currently on cloud nine! His recently released film Chhaava has hit it out of the park. The film has been enjoying a fabulous response at the box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Vicky portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, and Ashutosh Rana in key roles. Amid receiving love and appreciation, Vicky, on February 17, shared a touching video on social media. In the video, a little boy is seen crying post watching Chhaava on the big screen. Vicky reacted to the heartwarming video and called it his 'greatest earning'.

In the video shared by Vicky, a young boy is seen crying inconsolably after watching the historical drama. The boy is deeply moved by the powerful film. Vicky Kaushal, who impressed the audience with his performance, reacted to his young fan's video and expressed gratitude. 

He wrote along with the video, "हमारी सबसे बड़ी कमाई! Proud of you beta… wish I could give you a hug. Thank you everyone for your love and emotions. We wished for Shambhu Raaje’s story to reach every household in the world… and to see that happening is our greatest victory." Have a look:

Chhaava box office update

Vicky and Rashmika's film took an opening of Rs 31 crore at the box office. It has been enjoying a good run. Currently, the film stands at a total collection of Rs 116.5 crore as per Sacnilk. Looking at the ongoing upward trend and positive word of mouth, the film will only grow further. 

Meanwhile, Rashmika essays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's wife, Maharani Yesubai while Akshaye Khanna has killed it as Aurangzeb. Fans have been hailing Akshaye's performance, and calling it his 'solid comeback'. The film also stars Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite and Diana Penty as Aurangzeb's daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum.

The film hit theatres on February 14, 2025.
