Chhaava Box Office Update

For the uninitiated, Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Pictures, is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, who ruled from 1681 to 1689. The film, set on a grand scale, also features Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Divya Dutta as Sambhaji Maharaj's stepmother Soyarabai, and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. It was released in Indian theaters on February 14, 2025.

After showing a 19.35% jump on day two compared to day one, Chhaava has witnessed an even greater surge on day three, with a 30% increase. On its third day, the Laxman Utekar-directed film earned ₹48.5 crore at the Indian box office, according to Sacnilk. With ₹31 crore on day one and ₹37 crore on day two, the film's total collection now stands at ₹116.5 crore. As the film enters the weekday market, its true test begins today.
