Akshaye Khanna has transformed into Aurangzeb for his upcoming project, Chhaava. New posters featuring him as the historic figure are out, and to say that he looks power itself is an understatement. Akshaye has gone unrecognizable in the posters with a lean face covered with salt-and-pepper hair. His side profile resembles the Mughal emperor to a great extent. Here, take a look...

Akshaye Khanna is Mughal Shahenshah Aurangzeb for Chhaava

Maddock Films shared two posters of Akshaye Khanna in the role of Aurangzeb in Chhaava. The first is a side profile in which Aurangzeb's crown held high steals the limelight. It is the second poster where Akshaye Khanna the actor is promised. Knowing his graph, this might just end up as another one of his memorable roles, but it remains to be seen.

How Aurangzeb played the most important part in ploy towards Chhatrapati Sambhaji's death

Chhatrapati Sambhaji was unaware that he had intruders in his army, who kept Aurangzeb updated about his whereabouts. Thus, as planned, Sambhaji, despite all of his attempts to survive, got caught and was sent to Aurangzeb.

Aurangzeb offered Sambhaji three conditions to spare his life - 1. Surrender all his forts, 2. Disclose all hidden treasures, 3. Expose the names of Mughal officers who work for the Marathas. Apart from this, Aurangzeb had offered Sambhaji to turn to Islam, but Sambhaji insulted the emperor and Prophet Mohammad. It didn't end there, Sambhaji asked Aurangzeb to offer his daughter in exchange for turning a Muslim.

Thus, Sambhaji, along with his minister Kavi Kalash, was tortured to death before being beheaded near the Bhima River.
