Cheeni 2 actress Madhumita Sarcar: I believe the film will inspire everyone

In 2020, Mainak Bhaumik’s Cheeni impressed Bengali film viewers. Now he is back with Cheeni 2 with nearly the same cast – Madhumita Sarcar and Aparajita Adhya. This time, Anirban Chakrabarti, Soumya Mukherjee, Lily Chakraborty, and Pinky Banerjee also joined the team. Cast and crew members, including Mainak, Madhumita, Soumya, and others, gathered at a city pub to celebrate the trailer. Produced by SVF, the film will be released on August 11. 

Cheeni 2 delves deep into the lives of four exceptional women from diverse backgrounds. The film is a completely fresh film devoid of any connections to a prequel or sequel, a deliberate move to captivate the audience with its uncharted narrative. It portrays the individual journeys of four extraordinary women hailing from diverse backgrounds, exalting the power and richness of their unique experiences. 

Madhumita, who plays a pivotal role in the film, expressed her excitement about the project, stating, “Being a part of Cheeni 2 has been an incredible journey. The story and characters are so relatable, and I believe the film will inspire and move audiences.”
