Vishal Bhardwaj will make a movie based on The Sittaford Mystery, a well-known detective fiction mystery novel. Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley, the original show for SonyLIV, was made by Priti Shahani's company, Tusk Tale Films, along with Agatha Christie Limited and Vishal Bhardwaj Productions, which is Bhardwaj's own company.

In the series, Charlie Chopra will go on an adventure as she tries to solve a complicated mystery in the snowy Himachal Pradesh mountains. Vishal Bhardwaj co-wrote the show's script with Anjum Rajabali and Jyotsna Hariharan. He is also the show's director and co-producer, along with Anjum Rajabali and Jyotsna Hariharan. Wamiqa Gabbi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Lara Dutta, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Paoli Dam are just a few of the series' impressive ensemble cast members.

Vishal Bhardwaj makes his OTT debut with this endeavour.

Head of Content at SonyLIV, Saugata Mukherjee, commented on this initiative by stating that an Agatha Christie book is the perfect example of detective fiction, which has long been a fan favourite with the audience. Vishal Bhardwaj did a great job adapting one of her classics, The Sittaford Mystery, for an Indian audience. This makes them very happy. They are thrilled to have him on board because he is so creative in the way he rewrites literary masterpieces.

The director and producer of Vishal Bhardwaj Films said that he grew up reading every one of Agatha Christie's enigmatic stories. Storytellers still get ideas from her characters, plots, and settings, which are unmatched in the field. Working with James Prichard, the great-grandson of Agatha Christie, who consistently gave fresh perspectives to their team, has been an amazing adventure. Vishal worked with SonyLIV and Priti Shahani, two of the best people to help him adapt to this exciting and mysterious universe.

The founder of Tusk Tale Films Private Limited, Priti Shahani, says that working with Vishal Bhardwaj as the director of SonyLIV's version of Agatha Christie's The Sittaford Mystery has been a really great time. His stories are genuinely compelling because of his skill at attracting the ideal mix of talent and his artistry in giving each character a distinct personality and colour. This version will do a wonderful job of capturing the essence of Agatha Christie's original writing.

James Prichard, CEO of Agatha Christie Limited, said that his great-grandmother has many fans in India, and he's particularly excited for them to enjoy this adaptation by Vishal Bhardwaj, which takes the plot of The Sittaford Mystery and reimagines it in India.

For Agatha Christie Limited, James Prichard, Basi Akpabio, and Leo Dezoysa will serve as the program's executive producers.
