Chandu Champion box office collection day 1 - Kartik Aaryan's movie recently hit the big screen. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist. Since the film's trailer was out, people had set high expectations for Chandu Champion. Interestingly, the movie opened to thunderous feedback from critics and audiences alike. However, that hasn't resulted in Chandu Champion getting an impressive start at the box office.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Chandu Champion didn't get a flying start at the box office. The film, featuring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, could only earn Rs 4.75 crore at the box office. That said, the Kabir Khan directorial still has the potential to perform well at the ticket window because of positive reception.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the star cast of Chandu Champion also includes Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, and Aniruddh Dave among many others. Once Chandu Champion's theatrical run ends, the sports drama will have its digital premiere. The movie is expected to drop on Amazon Prime Video. However, there's no confirmation yet.

Kartik Aaryan gets standing ovation for Chandu Champion
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan was overwhelmed with the initial feedback to his film, Chandu Champion. The actor, who underwent a massive transformation for the film, received a standing ovation for the movie at a screening.
"THIS CHAMPION IS NOW YOURS These claps These Standing Ovations are making me so emotional and proud of this entire journey This movie is more than just a story for me, it’s a journey that changed my perspective about life! (sic)," a part of his Instagram post read.
