Chandrayaan-3 celebrity greetings: Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan, and others exude confidence in the success of this mission

Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, is attached with tonnes of hopes and best wishes from across the globe. This historic satellite mission is expected to land on the moon this evening. With numerous news stories swirling around the project, celebrities from Indian cinema have hailed the mission with full power and zest.

At first, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, from the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati, lauded the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Last evening, the 80-year-old star said, "Kal shaam ko jab chand niklega na, toh uss chand ki mitti par humare desh ke kadmon ki chaap hogi. Kal humara Chandrayaan-3, apne Maama ke ghar, yaani ke Chanda Maama ke ghar pahuchega. Kal humare bachpan ke kahaniyon ka chand, premika ke chehre ka chand, vrat aur tyoharon ka chaand apne desh ki pahuch mein hoga. (In the evening, tomorrow, when the moon rises, our country’s footprints will be imprinted on the soil of the moon.) Tomorrow, the moon of the stories of our childhood stories... will be within reach of our country."

Big B added, “Ye achievement iss country ke har citizen ke liye ek message hai ke desh ne karwat leli hai ab humko bhi kuch karna hai (This achievement is a message for every citizen of this country that the country has taken a turn, now we also have to do something.).”

Today morning, popular actor Ranganathan Madhavan prayed for the success of this mission. In a tweet today, Madhavan emphatically wrote, “Chandrayaan-3 WILL BE ABSOLUTE SUCCESS —- MARK MY WORDS. Congratulations @isro... IN ADVANCE... on this spectacular success... I AM SO SO HAPPY AND PROUD… congratulations to @NambiNOfficial too... Vikas engine delivers yet once again during the launch.”

Two days ago, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan addressed a press conference wherein she hailed India’s lunar mission. “It is a great and proud moment for each and every Indian. All of us are waiting to watch it. I will be going to do that with my boys as well," said Kareena.

Anupam Kher – a national award-winning actor – also appreciated the efforts of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) – towards Chandrayaan 3. Today morning, via an Instagram post, he conveyed, “Prayed for the success of #Chandrayan3 at home temple today. Worshiped for the tireless efforts of our @isro.in scientists. Praying it pays off. Advance greetings and congratulations to all the countrymen. Hail Lord Shiva. Hail Lord Bajrang. Hail Lord Rama. Hail India!”

Today evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be watching Chandrayaan-3 landing virtually from South Africa. For the uninitiated, Chandrayaan 3 is the third and most recent Indian lunar exploration mission under the Chandrayaan programme of ISRO.
