Chandramukhi 2 was one of the most awaited films in Tamil and Telugu as the film was the sequel of the classic hit Chandamukhi. Well, Chanramukhi 2 was also special as it had Kangana Ranaut and Ragava Lawrence in lead roles, and P Vasu directed the film which was released on September 28, 2023, to a very dull response all over.
We at OTTplay have already reported that Chandramukhi 2 will have its OTT release on October 27, 2023. The horror thriller is now streaming on Netflix. Though the film is now streaming for only just for a few hours, it is getting trolled brutally on social media.
Strong comments are being posted on social media that the film is a mega bore. Some trolls have targeted Kangana for portraying her role in a very loud manner that did not suit the sensibilities of the Southern audience.

Raghava Lawrence played a key role and he too is being slammed for his overboard performance in the film. Chandramukhi 2 was made on a massive budget by Lyca Productions and they promoted the film on a massive scale.
MM Keeravani scored music for this film and the songs also did not get a great response from the audience. The word is also that Netflix has bagged the rights to Chandramukhi for a solid price.
A section of social media also feels that the second part is nowhere near the first part in terms of story, narration, and performance by the actors. But the makers are happy with the response and the film is clocking solid viewing minutes on Netflix.
