Chandoo Mondeti, Naga Chaitanya's next: This star musician approached to compose music for the action drama

Chandoo Mondeti made his directorial debut with the Telugu film Karthikeya in 2014. The film, a mystery thriller, was well-received by both critics and audiences and brought him recognition as a promising director. After a long gap, he once again collaborated with Nikhil for Karthikeya 2 in 2022 and the film was a blockbuster hit at the box office. 

Now, he is doing a film with Naga Chaitanya as the main lead. The prestigious Geetha Arts banner is producing this film on a massive scale. Tentatively titled Tandel, this film is an action drama with a unique backdrop and will be high on fantasy and drama.

Now, the latest buzz in the Telugu film circles is that the makers of the film have approached music sensation Anirudh Ravichander to compose music for the film. Talks are at an advanced stage and Anirudh is likely to come on board. If he says yes to the project, Tandel will have a great music score for sure.

Background score plays a vital role in all Chandoo Mondeti films and as this film is high on VFX, drama, and action, Chandoo is quite key to having Anirudh on board. Even though the budget of the film will go sky high if Anirudh comes on board, the makers are ready to invest big as the subject demands a technician like Anirudh. 

The pre-production of the film is currently on the makers are in plans to take the film on the floors in the month of August. Chandoo Mondeti collaborated with Naga Chaitanya for the romantic drama Premam which was a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. The film was a commercial success and further established Chandoo Mondeti's directorial capabilities. Then, they also made a film titled Savyasachi which was way ahead of its time but it flopped big time. 

Naga Chaitanya loves Chandoo Mondetii's style of films and has shown belief in him once again for Tandel. The young hero also needs a hit under his belt and we need to see what kind of magic will Chandoo create this time with Chay. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
