Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui release date: When and where to watch the Ayushmann Khurrana, Vaani Kapoor starrer on OTT

Good news for Ayushmann Khurrana fans! Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is finally available to stream on an OTT platform. The film was released last month on big screens, however, it dropped off the theatres soon.

While the fans have been waiting for its digital arrival, Netflix bagged the streaming rights of the movie. The OTT giant shared the news on Instagram and captioned, “Aashiqs are here to do Aashiqui and we're all set to witness! Watch #ChandigarhKareAashiqui, now streaming on Netflix! @ayushmannk @_vaanikapoor_ @gattukapoor (sic).”

Chandigarh Kare Ashiqui chronicles the love story of a man and a transgender. The movie also shed light on the struggle that the minority gender go through in day to day life. 

The light-hearted film was also marked as one of the first films to complete filming during the pandemic. The lead actor shared his gratitude towards the makers soon after completing the shooting schedules of the movie at such a tough time. Ayushmann shared an image with the director, producer and his co-actress and wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram, where he mentioned that Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is a very special film for him and he is proud of it.

Apart from Ayushman and Vani, the romantic-comedy movie also features TV actor Abhishek Bajaj and it has been bankrolled by T-Series and Guy In The Sky Pictures. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is available to be streamed on Netflix now.
