Chandan Shetty starrer mystery thriller 'Suthradaari' goes on floors

We had reported recently that rapper and music composer Chandan Shetty is all set to don a new role for his second outing as an actor. Chandan will be seen playing a police officer in the film which is touted to be a mystery thriller and the makers recently revealed that the film is titled Sutradhari. Chandan Shetty took to social media recently to share the first look poster of the film and seek the blessings and wishes of his followers.

Coming to the film, Chandan Shetty shared recently via social media that he has undergone a big physical transformation to fit into the role of a tough cop by shedding as many as 12 kilos. The character he plays in the upcoming whodunnit thriller is distinctly different to the one in his debut film Elra Kaaleliyatte Kaala wherein he will be seen in a retro avatar.

According to recent reports, Suthradaari went on floors on October 10 and the team is currently engrossed in the first schedule of the film. Debutant Kiran Raj directs the film with Navarasan of My Movie Bazaar producing it and also serving as the creative head. The team unveiled the motion poster on October 7.

Apoorva plays the female lead in the film with Tabla Nani and Ganesh Narayan playing key roles in the film. Chandan Shetty will also score the music of the film.

Chandan also awaits the release of acting debut Elra Kaaleliyatte Kaala which has been directed by fellow actor Sujay Shastry. The film also stars Archana Kottige, Manju Pavagada, Tara, and many others.
