Chandan Shetty has often used his Instagram handle to share timely details about his professional pursuits. Be it in the form of behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets of his music video shoots or funny, harmless gags, which mostly feature his wife Niveditha Gowda, Chandan keeps things light and humorous in his feed.
The music composer/rapper shared one such post recently which features himself, Niveditha, and the couple's usual quirks but their combined followers, because of a rather interesting reason, have been left slightly puzzled.
Chandan Shetty and Niveditha Gowda, in this latest Insta reel, can be spotted trying to recreate a popular social media prank/joke wherein one person asks the other to first spell out 'FAT'. Once the other person says 'F-A-T', they are then asked to spell 'HER' and when they do so, the next given task is to combine the two words and spell it all out as one word (F-A-T-H-E-R). At this point, the same person is finally asked to pronounce the combined word and as seen in some of the viral memes, the person fails to recognise that they are actually spelling out 'father' and instead ends up saying 'Fat-Her'.
Chandan's latest reel shows that Niveditha too falls prey to the prank and while that was seemingly the only objective, their followers have grown puzzled over the 'hidden meaning' behind the gag. Soon enough, "are you going to be a father?" queries came flooding in the comments section with most users believing that the couple, quite indeed, is pregnant! Some of the comments did pick up on the joke and were quick in terming them 'copycats', while the rest suggested that most Chandan Shetty fans are currently under the impression that fatherhood beckons him. The couple, on the other hand, is yet to share a clarification or confirm/deny the confusion.
On the work front, Chandan is all set to make his debut as an actor this year. Having already shot for his maiden outing Elra Kaaleliyatte Kaala (directed by Sujay Shastry), Chandan is currently working on his second film Sutradhaari, a whodunnit thriller, wherein he plays a cop.
