Ananya Panday appears to be on a signing spree, exploring every possible genre. After showcasing her life in the technological world, Ananya Panday is now venturing into a more romantic role, starring opposite a character who has shown a violent side this year. Yes, we are talking about Lakshya, who had a breakout with Kill. Both have come together in the world of Karan Johar films with Chand Mera Dil.
The filmmaker announced the film with several teaser posters, featuring Ananya and Lakshya showcasing their endearing chemistry, which undoubtedly excited fans. Vivek Soni, who rose to fame with the 2021 Netflix film Meenakshi Sundareshwar, also produces the film under Dharma Productions.

Karan announced on his Instagram that a unique and passionate love story is in the works, requiring two "chands" to bring it to life! The filmmaker further mentioned that in love, one has to be a little crazy.

Earlier, while talking about the film prior to the announcement, Karan wrote on his Instagram page that Dharma Productions has a long history of producing emotionally charged love stories. Their goal is to captivate listeners with timeless music while telling love stories that touch their hearts.
Finally, a love story starring a youthful ensemble has returned, and they couldn't be happier.
Earlier this year, Ananya made her web series debut with the Prime Video series Call Me Bae, which went on to become a hit. Soon after, the actor appeared in Vikramaditya Motwane's CTRL, a Netflix film, opposite Vihaan Samat.
On the other hand, Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's film Kill marked Lakshya's Bollywood debut. The film featured the actor as a commando with the National Security Guard, and it also starred Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. The film garnered significant praise for its groundbreaking and unprecedented action sequences on the Indian screen.
