Three generations of women—the ageing Leela, her daughter-in-law Naina, and her teenage granddaughter Siya—entangle in a web of repressed emotions and competing ambitions in the last act, which takes place in the Seth household. The severity of the lockdown tests the characters' perseverance, connections, and self-awareness.
