Challenging Star Darshan and producer Umapathy Gowda to burn the hatchet with the period epic 'Sindhura Lakshmana'?

The equation between actor Darshan and Kannada film producer Umapathy Srinivas Gowda took a bitter turn recently. The two got entangled in a tricky fake-surety case involving the former's farmhouse and although the Roberrt producer was never suspected of any foul play, their professional relationship turned slightly sour thereafter. However, hints of reconciliation have now emerged as the reports suggest a new mega film is on the cards. 

Speaking to Filmibeat, producer Umapathy Srinivas Gowda has revealed that the historical project Sindhura Lakshmana has hit the strides and that the film is currently I the scripting stage. He would also add that the scale amd scope of the project demand Darshan to headline it and although the actor hasn't confirmed his association yet, a proper discussion between the two is likely to occur very soon. Filmmaker Tharun Kishore Sudhir, who helmed Roberrt, is said to have been formerly associated with the project.

As per other recent reports, the pre-production stage of Sindhura Lakshmana is now in full swing and the writing team is striving hard to finalize the script. The makers, considering the massive scale of the period project, are said to have begun the storyboarding process and are keen on forming a strong, full-fledged team at the earliest. It would be a matter of time before Darshan's involvement in the project is either confirmed or denied.
