The Netflix sports drama film to be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket.

The buzz of Anushka Sharma coming back on the screen after 3 years has been doing rounds on the internet for a few days. Meanwhile, Netflix has just announced the highly anticipated sports drama film titled Chakda ‘Xpress that features Anushka as Jhulan Goswami. The OTT giant unveiled the news with a short promo video.
The latest promo begins with a commentary where a man from the background can be seen sarcastically mocking the Indian women's cricket team. "India is taking on the mighty Australians. It's going to be a cracker of the contest. On one side we have team Kangaroo and on the other side, we have team, who are you!" says the commentator.
All the players of the women cricket team can be seen borrowing shirts of the men's cricket player from the locker room and pasting their own name at the back of it.
The commentator further adds that even if team India loses, the fans wouldn't really be disappointed. Because these fans don't exist."

Anushka shared the latest video on Instagram with a rather long caption where she expressed her gratitude to be a part of the film and also informed her fans a little about the forthcoming biographical movie.
Talking about the film, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress wrote on Instagram that the upcoming movie is special because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. "At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket." she further added in the caption.
