The 11thSeason of Celebrity Cricket League is all set to draw to a close. For one last time, two teams will take the field to determine who goes back home with the trophy. Will it be a two-time champion, looking for a third, or a rank newcomer? Well, it comes down to the title clash between the Chennai Rhinos and Punjab De Sher on March 2, 2025. The match will begin at 6 pm at the Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar stadium.
In the first match, the defending champions, Bengal Tigers, who’d remained undefeated in the tournament, were sent packing by the babies of the league, Punjab De Sher. Playing their first-ever semi-final, Harrdy Sandhu’s boys ensured that the Tigers’ wings were clipped and never let themselves be bothered by the fact that they’d lost to the same side in the group stage.
The second semi-final was between the Karnataka Bulldozers and the Chennai Rhinos. Bulldozers skipper Kiccha Sudeep had predicted a tough match and that’s what the Rhinos gave his team. After an evenly poised first innings, the Rhinos took control of the match and got themselves a shot at the title yet again.
