Netflix today released the highly anticipated Kdrama Doona starring the mesmerizing K-beauty Bae Suzy in the lead, along with the dashing Yang Se-jong. Both actors are impressive to watch and their mushy romance is surely going To be a highlight for the weekend for kdrama lovers. Doona is directed by Lee Jung-hyo, who has previously charmed fans with hit kdramas, Crash Landing on You, and Romance is a bonus book.

Story/Plot
Netflix’s Doona is based on a webtoon, The Girl Downstairs which follows the titular character Lee Doona, a former K-pop idol sharing a house with a university student Won-jun. The unusual housemates start getting acquainted with each other and in this journey, they fall in love. Doona is primarily a story of a new beginning for a former K-pop star, who embarks on a journey to shed her usual celebrity status in exchange for an ordinary life.
Cast and Behind the Scenes of Doona
Bae Suzy plays the titular character of Doon, who is a vocalist of the girl group Dream Sweet before she decides to retire. While Yang Se-jong is a university student whose main aim is to provide his family with a comfort lifestyle. Other supporting cast members include Lee Yu-bi, Shin Ha-young as Kim Jin-joo, Park Se-wan, and Kim Do-wan in prominent roles.
