Care of Kancharapalem producer Praveena Paruchuri, composer Mickey J Meyer unite for a musical short film!

Praveena Paruchuri, the producer behind two quality films like Care of Kancharapalem and Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya, despite having a comfortable, secure career in the US as a medico, returned to India to accomplish her dream of backing a Telugu film. She wasn't here merely to make a quick buck but also proved her taste for good scripts for both of her projects. While Care of Kancharapalem hit theatres in 2018, Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya released directly on Netflix in 2020.

Now, the medico-cum-producer is turning a director for an interesting project; she had announced the news comemmorating her birthday on Sunday. She is joining hands with the Happy Days, Mahanati composer Mickey J Meyer for Te Quiero Conmigo, a peppy, foot-tapping number in Latin. The musical short film helmed by Praveena Paruchuri will release on a major Youtube channel this May 6 at 10 pm EST (May 7, 7.30 pm IST).

She wrote, "Announcing #TeQuieroConmigo❤️ A toe tapping, hip shaking #Latin song composed by @MickeyJMeyer. Releasing May 6th 10pm EST. Musical short film directed by @paruchurimd. Stay tuned ..." Praveena is quite pumped up about this passion project which will come to life shortly and she's confident that it'll change the way people perceive Mickey J Meyer and his music. For someone as talented as Mickey J Meyer, Te Quiero Conmigo offers an interesting chance to go beyond the obvious.

Reports also suggest that Praveena Paruchuri will commence work on a new feature film too shortly, that will also be directed by her and may have a release in 2023. Does the producer have it in her to be a formidable storyteller too? We'll know soon. Mickey J Meyer, meanwhile has three other interesting projects too, an untitled film with Gopichand, the pan-Indian film Project K starring Prabhas and the Ashish-starrer Selfish.
