It looks like Dhanush's film is gearing up for a big release on December 15. The film marks the maiden collaboration between Arun Matheswaran and Dhanush and is one of the most awaited projects of the year.

Karnataka distribution rights acquired by this production house
The latest we hear is that KRG Studios, which distributed films like KGF: Chapter 1, Adipurush and Chikku, will be handling the films theatrical rights in Karnataka. Sathya Jyothi Films, which is bankrolling Captain Miller, shared the news on its social media handle. The post read, "Happy to announce @KRG_Studios as our Karanataka distributor for #CaptainMiller Get ready to witness @dhanushkraja & @NimmaShivanna blaze the screens worldwide on DECEMBER 15th , 2023 @ArunMatheswaran @sundeepkishan @gvprakash @priyankaamohan @saregamasouth (sic)."

Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios wrote that they will be releasing the film. He wrote, "We will release #CaptainMiller in Karnataka in Tamil & Kannada from Dec15. Thanking @SathyaJyothi films - For more collaborations in the future (sic)."

First single to be out soon
Meanwhile, the first review of the first single, Killer Killer' from Captain Miller is out. The review was given by Bheeshma and Chalo director Venky Kudumula. Taking to his social media handle, he wrote, "In our music sittings today, @gvprakash bro happened to make me hear the ‘Killer…Killer…’ song from @dhanushkraja sir’s #CaptainMiller Mind blowing is a small word What a KILLER song… Can’t wait for the world to witness it soon (sic)!" The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar.

Captain Miller, a pan-India project
The teaser, released on the occasion of Dhanush's birthday, provides a glimpse of a raging war and the actor all guns blazing, literally. Dhanush plays a fugitive who gives the British forces a run for their money. The film, bankrolled by TG Thygarajan, is all set to have a pan-India release and the makers are planning to expand Dhanush's canvas with the same.
