The world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has opened doors for peak fantasy and endless possibilities that led to some of the most rewarding movies of our times. Iron Man built an entire empire going against the destructive legacy he was about to fuel by dealing in weapons. Other Avengers, too, have set examples likewise. But one Avenger who has always been a silent player, but the strongest if you look at it, is Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson.
Introduced in 2019, Carol quickly established herself as a force to reckon. The position of a fierce female superhero was held by Natasha Romanoff’s Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, until this very point. There was suddenly a superhero who could beat the Kree and take down forces with her superpowers that were insane.
So now, as Captain Marvel returns to our screen with The Marvels after a gap of almost half a decade, let us look back at some of the most ‘Wow’ moments that she created in her time on screen and made us fall for her talent.

Thor’s Mjolnir Cannot Scare Captain Marvel
Remember the euphoria around Thor’s hammer, aka Mjolnir , when it first appeared, and no one could lift it up but Thor? Fast forward, can you recall how it literally broke people into pieces, whoever came its way to the God Of Thunder? Now, recall the scene when in Avengers: Endgame, Thor called Mjolnir. It flew from dangerously close to Carol Danvers and she didn’t even bat an eyelid. That’s the robust woman we are talking about. And just like Chris Hemsworth’s Thor said, looking at that, “I like this one,” we feel the same too.
Captain Marvel Brings Back Iron Man & Nebula
Carol Danvers technically first joined the Avengers in Endgame when she returned that ship to the base camp. It was the moment when Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man was starving for oxygen in Benatar with Nebula and suddenly a ray of light entered, and the next thing you know, Captain Marvel was on to the rescue, winning the trust of the rest of Earth’s, Mightiest Heroes.
Captain Marvel’s Most Iconic Endgame Entry
The Battle Of Earth, where the Avengers were fighting Thanos, was one of the most cinematic sequences the MCU ever got. While everyone was kind of drained and some even losing hope, it was a beam of light that destroyed Thanos’s war machines, and the visuals were just breathtaking. The guns moved toward the sky, and here came a fierce superhero in full force with the goal of destroying the badmen. Captain Marvel got the best entry scene, and there is no doubt. Also, Tom Holland, looking at Carol at that moment, is all of us.
Carol Danvers Gets Her Powers From Kree Engine
This takes us back to the first film in 2019. It was at this point that we learned how Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel and lost her memory in the process. The scene is where Yon-Rogg is behind her to snatch the Kree energy core. To save the day, she shoots the core and ends up absorbing its energy, becoming the super-powerful hero that she becomes.
Even Thanos Couldn’t Fight Captain Marvel Without An Infinity Stone
Remember how Thanos was beating one Avenger after the other and was unstoppable at one point? It was only Captain Marvel who entered and fought him with so much force and punches, and even he couldn’t fight her back. The big villain literally was helpless at that moment as Carol just didn’t stop throwing punch after punch at him and was very close to taking him down. Even he had to take help from his infinity stones to blast the space stone to stop her.
Such is Captain Marvel, unstoppable, fierce, and extremely powerful. The Marvels releases this week on November 10, 2023. It will be fun to see what more about this iconic superhero the studio has in store for the fans. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more.
