Captain: Filming of Arya and Shakti Soundar Rajan's sci-fi movie wraps

Fans were excited when another project from the duo of Arya and Shakti Soundar Rajan was announced. The latest update is that the filming of the science fiction action movie has now wrapped. 

The news about the movie's filming was shared by the director and the actors who took to social media to share their excitement. “It’s a wrap for #Captain. Thanks to our Captain @ShaktiRajan for another Exciting unique filming experience. U r one of a kind brother. Cant wait for our next. @SimranbaggaOffc Mam u r our lucky Mascot @ThinkStudiosInd @immancomposer @AishuLekshmi”, wrote Arya in a Tweet, also sharing photos from the set of the movie. 

Simran, who is playing an important role in the project also shared her excitement through social media and stated that it was a pleasure working with the team. 

Director Shakti Soundar Rajan also took to social media to share the exciting news with the fans, and also stated that working with Simran was a fanboy moment for him, and thanked the actor for making the movie more special to him. 

The filming of Captain, which is touted to be a sci-fi action flick, began in October of last year and a major part of the project was filmed in thick forests of North India, with the final schedule taking place in Kulu Manali.

Apart from Arya and Simran, the movie also stars Simran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Harish uthaman, Kavya Shetty, Gokul Anand, Suresh Menon, Bharath Raj and Ambuli Gokul and is also produced by Arya. 

Arya and Rajan have previously worked together in Teddy, the 2021 action thriller which also has Sayyeshaa in the lead. D Imman, who composed music for Teddy is also the music director for Captain.
