On this Fourth of July, Anthony Mackie teases fans with a better look at the outfit he'll be wearing in Captain America: Brave New World. The MCU film has been in production for a long time and has gone through several revisions, including release dates and reshoots. Its original title was likewise modified. Captain America: Brave New World, which has just wrapped up reshoots, is a major component of Phase 5.
Anticipation builds for Captain America: Brave New World
In the lead-up to the film's premiere in less than a year, fans eagerly anticipate more sneak peeks at Captain America: Brave New World. By posting a fresh photo of Sam Wilson's new suit, Mackie was able to commemorate July 4.
Marvel will have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, hosting a Hall H presentation. Whether Captain America: Brave New World is present or not is still unknown. The discussion is anticipated to focus on the film since it is the next Marvel release scheduled for release after Deadpool & Wolverine in July.
Sam Wilson's new look in Phase 5
Sam will get a makeover in Phase 5 of Captain America: Brave New World, as hinted at throughout production. This is perhaps because, after William Hurt's death, Harrison Ford will play US President Thunderbolt Ross, and Sam will have deeper ties to the government. If he wants to keep up his cover as the new Captain America, he could need a covert costume, but the government could provide him with one.
Despite Sam's introduction as the new Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Captain America: Brave New World revisits one of the most-used trends in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ever since his series concluded on Disney+, fans have been curious about his whereabouts, as he hasn't appeared in any Marvel Cinematic Universe ventures since the 2021 TV show. But like other Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Captain America: Brave New World equips its heroes with shiny new armour for their newest escapade.
Set photos reveal original suit
Set photos from the reshoots revealed that his original suit from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be in Captain America: Brave New World, which is great news for costume fans. It is unclear if those events occur before Sam obtains the new Captain America costume or if he ultimately returns to his former look.
We can only wait for the first Captain America: Brave New World trailer to drop in order to finally get some answers.
