This Indo-French co-production has been making waves for some time, and audiences in India have been eagerly waiting to know when it will hit the big screen. Now, with Rana Daggubati backing the film and presenting it to a pan-Indian audience, the release date for India has finally been announced. 

All We Imagine As Light Gets an India Release Date

All We Imagine As Light, which competed in the main festival at Cannes this year and won the prestigious Grand Prix—one of the top honors—was a massive victory for India, which had been waiting for such recognition for years. Now, Rana Daggubati and Payal Kapadia are gearing up to release the film in India and have officially announced the release date.

Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light is set for its Indian release on 22nd November 2024. Additionally, the film has been selected to open the MAMI Film Festival this year and will be screened at the opening gala of the festival tomorrow evening. This means the film is poised for a grand reception on the big screen. The movie stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Chhaya Kadam in lead roles.

Speaking about the film’s theatrical release in India, Payal Kapadia shared, “This film has been years in the making, and with our partnership with Spirit Media, I am incredibly excited for the next phase. It is the first time one of my films will be released in theaters, and Indian audiences will finally be able to buy tickets and experience it on the big screen, where cinema truly comes to life.”

The film will be released in theaters across India on 22nd November 2024 and will be available in major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kolkata. All We Imagine As Light is an official Indo-French co-production between Petit Chaos from France, and Chalk & Cheese and Another Birth from India.
