Ananya Panday is all set to make her much-awaited OTT series debut with Call Me Bae. Ahead of the web series’ digital release, a star-studded premiere was held on Wednesday. Several celebrities lauded Ananya’s performance after witnessing her charm. One of them is Sara Ali Khan, who dubbed it “Ananya’s best” as she shared a clip of the web series from the special screening event on her social media handle. When and where to watch Call Me Bae

The eight-episode series will drop on the streaming platform on September 6 (Friday). Apart from the original Hindi version, it will also be available to watch in multiple audio languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The plot revolves around the titular character of Bae, whose life takes a bitter twist when she is downsized from a heiress to a hustler and discovers her true self irrespective of materialism. After being broke financially and juggling her career and love life, Bae navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai and embarks on a challenging journey.

The trailer seems like a promising watch with lots of drama, chaos, and fashion inspiration. Ananya Panday’s ‘Bae’ attitude and oozing confidence are also unmissable in the upcoming series.

Ananya will be leading the ensemble cast of Vir Das, Varun Sood, Gurfateh Pirzada, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, and Mini Mathur.

Created by Ishita Moitra and directed by Colin D'cunha, Call Me Bae is backed by Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd, and the web series is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra.

Meanwhile, the star-studded screening event on Wednesday was graced by several Bollywood celebrities, including Sara Ali Khan, Karan Johar, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina.
