Call Me Bae: It's an emotional wrap for Ananya Panday's OTT debut

Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut with Punit Malhotra's Student Of The Year 2. The actress shared screen space with Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff. Although she is only a few films old, the actress is now ready to venture into the OTT space. She will be making her digital debut with Amazon Prime Video's Call Me Bae.

The actress had been shooting for the web show for a while now. As Ananya is about to complete the shoot, she has penned an emotional note on her Instagram account.

Ananya Panday gets emotional

Ananya took to her Instagram stories and shared her picture before wrapping Call Me Bae's shoot. The caption to her IG story read, "From day 05 to day 55 all the feels for our last day tomorrow (sic)."

The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan and Varun Sood in the show. It is being co-produced by Karan Johar.

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Ananya spilled some beans about her OTT debut show. The actress said, "It is a full-on chick flick sort of fun show, there's a lot of comedy in that. I would give you references but I don't know how much I'm allowed to speak about it but there's lots of fashion, comedy, and romance."

On the work front for Ananya Panday

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya was last seen in Dream Girl 2. The actress worked with Ayushmann Khurrana in the film. Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the movie worked well at the box office. It was the sequel to the 2019 movie Dream Girl. The first installment starred Nushrratt Bharuccha with Khurrana.

Next, Panday has Kho Gaye Hum Kahan lined up in the pipeline.
