The Kapil Sharma Show(TKSS) is gearing up for a comeback with its exciting new season. Kapil Sharma’s stylish new look, the advent of new faces and Archana Puran Singh’s teasing of what’s in store for the new season certainly did a good job at piquing fans’ curiosity of what's to come. But it seems that Krushna Abhishek, a beloved comedian on the show, will not be a part of its new season.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Krushna has exited the show before the premiere of the new season. Confirming the same, the actor said that his absence from the show was caused due to ‘agreement issues’.

The report stated that the show would be seen in a completely new avatar in its upcoming season, with the makers introducing some new changes. Announcing the show’s new season, Kapil had promised to feature ‘new faces’, inviting applications from the public to be a part of TKSS as well. The announcement had led many to speculate that Sunil Grover, aka Dr Gulati would make a comeback to the show. Archana’s teasing of a hospital set for the show’s new season also piqued fans’ expectations regarding the same.

Some of the familiar faces fans can expect to see in the new season include Kiku Sharda, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Rajiv Thakur. Bharti had earlier told Pinkvilla that despite being a part of the show’s new season, she would not be a regular cast member as before. The comedian had said that she was planning on taking a short break, as she had a baby to look after as well as other shows and events she had to be a part of.

TKSS had gone off air back in June, and the team had been busy with their world tour.

The Kapil Sharma Show is available for streaming on SonyLIV.
