Buzz is: Rihanna was paid whopping USD 5 million to perform at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations

Many have been waiting to see what Rihanna has to offer at the upcoming Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. Even Ivanka Trump and Bill Gates have flown down to attend the grand celebrations, apart from Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar joining the bash with other renowned names from Bollywood, sports and politics. We now hear that the pop icon Rihanna was paid whopping USD 5 million to perform at the pre-wedding. The event scheduled for today, March 1, is titled An Evening in Everland.

What we hear

Rihanna would be giving an exclusive performance at the private celebrations and for the same, she was paid whopping USD 5 million, a report on MailOnline claims. She is expected to be the showstopper on one of the three-day celebrations. We also hear that she demanded nearly USD 9 million for the performance.

Rihanna spotted at the airport with husband

Rihanna was seen at the Jamnagar airport with her husband A$AP Rocky. She donned a black dress when spotted at the airport. The pop star was also seen with her personal team, crew and large containers along with big luggage. The same could be her stage props.

Not Ambani’s first time with a pop star on Indian soil

Back when Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter and Anant’s sister Isha Ambani was getting married in 2018, the family had invited another big pop star to India. Beyonce gave a performance at the wedding and back then it was reported that they paid Beyonce USD 6 million for the private concert.

The pre-wedding festivities for Anant and Radhika are estimated to cost USD 120 million. In fact, we hear they have gone overbudget, since the catering contract itself costs them USD 20 million more.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will get married on July 12. Of course, if the pre-wedding is this grand, the wedding is sure to blow many minds. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait much longer to find out what will happen then.
