BTS V's new collab? Just a day after enlistment news, American singer-songwriter Umi drops hints

Just a day after the announcement from BIGHIT MUSIC about the enlistment of the remaining BTS members — V, Jungkook, Jimin, and RM — the idols have planned various events as part of their farewell to the dedicated fanbase, ARMY. Kim Taehyung, commonly known as V, has stirred excitement among fans with hints at potential new music.

On November 21, V engaged with ARMY through a question and answer session on his Instagram stories, addressing fan queries. When asked about his current projects, V dropped significant spoilers, hinting at what could be his upcoming musical endeavours.

While these spoilers were enough to convince ARMY of the imminent arrival of new music, a recent development has added even more intrigue. The song preview shared by V on his Instagram story was widely reshared by multiple fan accounts on X (formerly known as Twitter). 

One such post caught the attention of American singer-songwriter Umi, who quoted it with an intriguing caption, "loading…"

Umi, an artist V has recently expressed interest in, with shared posts of her music on his Instagram and reposts of her covers of his original songs, has now added to the anticipation. 

Fans had initially expressed hopes for a collaboration between V and Umi, and her recent hint has fueled even more excitement among ARMY, who eagerly await the possibility of a joint musical venture between the two artists.
