Despite being in the South Korean military service, BTS' Kim Taehyung surely knows how to keep ARMY on the edge of their seats. On January 10, 2024, 'Harper's Bazaar' Korea declared BTS' V as the cover star for their much-anticipated February issue. The magazine skillfully stirred up excitement and curiosity with tantalizing teasers before releasing the actual photos.
The magazine's three distinctive covers for February have been unveiled, giving fans an exclusive glimpse of what's to come. All three photos are distinct; in one, he is sporting long hair with hands above his head and staring right at the camera - but it looks like he is looking into your soul.
The other photo shows him shirtless with his dainty fingers on a log of wood adorned with bracelets, his hair covering his eyes, and a thick chain around his neck.
The third is of him wearing a jacket, but it's open, showing off his well-toned body, paired with jeans near the sea.
Soon after their pictures went viral, fans recalled during the promotions of his album 'Layover,' V appeared on Suchwita and mentioned how ARMY considered Chapter 2 as a phase where members are flaunting their shirtless pictures. V had shyly mentioned, "I saw that there are ARMY who think Chapter 2 is about us taking our shirts off. But I repeat. Chapter 2 has nothing to do with taking our shirts off."
However, a few days later of V's comment, Jungkook posted a picture of himself flaunting his bare back.
Since then there has been no stopping the BTS men who have gone on to show various sides of themselves to the fans. Now, it's V, who, from his solo album season, has on numerous occasions gone shirtless, leaving ARMY speechless.
