ARMY are questioning why BTS' V always 'dies' in MVs, be it IU's "Love Wins All" or his acting debut role in the K-drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" where he is killed.

The highly-anticipated second teaser for BTS' V's upcoming single, 'FRI(END)S,' was released by HYBE Music on March 11, 2024, and it's nothing short of chaotic. Scheduled for release on March 15, 2024, the song had the agency release the Flash Video sometime before Teaser 2.

What got ARMY talking even more is the clip in the video where Kim Taehyung is lying on the road with blood around him and a car over him - as if he had met with an accident. This teaser also features a line sung by V that says "Friends... just for now."

Similar to Teaser 1, Taehyung is seen opening the fridge to retrieve the only packet of food left and eats it. However, unlike the first teaser where he is seen sitting alone in a suit with an eyebrow piercing amidst couples immersed in romantic moments, this time, the crowd alongside him is fighting and throwing things at each other in utter chaos.

With ARMY receiving continuous content, they have little time to breathe as they try to understand what this Music Video (MV) is all about. Fans are also questioning why V always 'dies' in the MVs, be it IU's "Love Wins All" or his acting debut role in the K-drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" where he is killed.

About FRI(END)S:

Kim Taehyung's "FRI(END)S" is described as a pop-soul R&B track, exploring the intricacies of love. According to a press release from BigHit Music, "The track, rooted in the pop-soul R&B genre, offers relatable and clever romantic narratives with lyrics entirely crafted in English".

Where is V?

Taehyung, along with his fellow BTS members RM, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, and J-Hope, is presently serving his mandatory military duty in South Korea. His enlistment is scheduled to conclude on June 10, 2025, coinciding with the expected return of him and his bandmates.
