NBA travelled to Japan for their preseason game between the Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards and the music world was more esthatic as BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys) rapper Min Yoon-gi aka Syga was present at the court.
The K-pop idol, during the game, met Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors and many other players and the photos of the same have since gone viral.
Following a meeting, Curry welcomed Suga to the Dub Nation.
Curry can be heard saying, "I’m sweaty, working hard, but nice to meet you. Big fan, obviously, So are my kids and everybody in my family, man. It’s great to meet you."
The idol responded saying: "Nice to meet you. It’s an honour."
Not just basketball, he even met tennis player Naomi Osaka. The Tennis stat has been a fan of the band for a while.
She was caught on camera talking to Yoongi when she was at the NBA game and expressed her appreciation and love for the track Autumn Leaves - a hugely popular B-side track, composed and produced by the rapper himself.
Osaka posted a picture of her meeting the idol and captioned it, "lol so I told Suga that ‘Autumn Leaves’ is a fantastic song".
She added that "I don't know why but that was one thing I made up my mind to tell him if we ever bumped into each other."
Their interaction was also caught on video and uploaded by the official NBA Japan account on Twitter.
