Wohoo! Renowned senior Bollywood actor Dharmendra Deol today shared behind-the-scenes (BTS) glimpses from the latest theatrical, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. In the movie, 87-year-old Dharmendra plays a crucial role and brings the 1980s spark to the romantic comedy.
In the stills shared today, Dharmendra smiled comfortably in the company of veteran actors Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. Not only this, but he also dropped a picture in which he posed with Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh.
To pictures with Shabana and Jaya, Dharmendra captioned: “Khoobsoorat ye lamhen….. bhi …. Yaaden ban kar rah jaayenge….”
“Friends, it was a great pleasure to work with these talented actors,” Dharmendra added.
To a picture with Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra expressed in a post that “Ranveer Singh is a great actor and a lovely human being.” They both can be spotted smiling comfortably in each other’s company.
Dharmendra, who was last seen in the 2018 comedy, Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, with sons Sunny Deol and Bobby, plays a pivotal role in filmmaker Karan Johar's directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released theatrically yesterday. The movie earned a whopping Rs 11.5 crore from Indian theatres on its first day. It features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. On July 4, the official trailer of this movie dropped on Dharma Production’s YouTube handle and its caption read, “In his 25th anniversary year, Karan Johar brings to you - a rollercoaster journey taking you through an epic love story in a new-age era, topped with hearty laughs and posing questions about love, family and the meaning of breaking away from generations of family traditions in the name of love.
