BTS aka Bangtang Boys made their big debut in 2013, and within just ten years, the band has created history by being the most influential K-pop band ever. With songs like – ‘DYNAMITE’, ‘FAKE LOVE’, ‘IDOL’, ‘BUTTER’, ‘BOY WITH LOVE’, ‘SAVAGE LOVE’, ‘EUPHORIA’, ‘FIRE’, ‘DNA’, the K-pop band has achieved numerous international accolades over the years – Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, The Asia Awards, Billboard Music Awards, E! People's Choice Awards, Swiss Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and more.
What happened to BTS?
Now BTS has been put on a halt, as all the seven members – RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, SUGA, V, and JungKook will be serving in the South Korean military. The announcement was made by their management company, Bit Hit in 2022. Big Hit has also confirmed that BTS plans to come back together as a group around 2025, after all the seven members complete their military services, respectively.
Disney's documentary
Therefore, to celebrate the K-pop band’s ten years in the industry, Disney has bought for all their millions of fans a special documentary – BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, which will show how BTS began their journey and how they have changed and improved over time.
The album will feature some never--seen-before videos and personal stories that chronicle the group's journey from their debut to the present. Back in 2022, the leader RM expressed their desire to share their experiences, mirroring the title of their second studio album – Blood, Sweat and Tears. JungKook added that they hope fans will discover new sides of them through this project.
The documentary's release date
BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star will be released on December 20, 2023 only on Disney+ Hotstar.
